Description

The Victorian Tall Wall Greenhouse from Forest has a traditional Victorian design.

The greenhouse's small size means it is perfect for gardens where space is at a premium and a full sized greenhouse is not ideal – not only this, but the back panel means you don’t have to place it against a wall to keep your plants protected.

Two heights of shelving allow you to organise your plants and ensure they are getting the most sunlight possible. A great feature of this greenhouse is the collapsible middle shelves that fold away to make room for storage of taller plants. The two opening vents are suitable for use with auto-vents (not included – please see accessories to purchase separately) which keep the temperature and air flow at an appropriate level.

The Victorian Wall Greenhouse is manufactured from watertight tongue and groove cladding, and the timber used has been FSC approved and pressure treated to give it a 15-year guarantee against rot and fungal decay.

We have a small suburban garden and needed something that would have enough useful space without taking up half the garden. This item was perfect. I read the previous reviews and decided to take the plunge. The greenhouse is delivered flat packed on a large pallet. We opted to paint it before assembly and after some outrageous choices decided upon the cream as shown in the illustration. It did take 4 coats to cover but looks lovely once done. Small niggle - you can't get to the underside of the two opening windows cross beams so they remain in the natural wood colour. A huge plus if you opt to paint is that all the windows are plastic coated both sides so you can slap it on with no fussy cutting in or masking. Assembly definitely requires two people and took a day to do. We are really happy with the result. Pre-drilling of holes recommended and a power screw driver makes life much easier.

Neat little greenhouse. Easy to put together- my wife and I managed it tho the instructions aren't the best. Often the order of build was a little off requiring a deconstruct and reconstruction. Delivered damp so been unable to paint at the moment but the Perspex panes (not glass) are covered with a film so should be relatively easy once the weather cheers up. Cant see why you'd need a bigger one.

if you are looking for a space saving green house this is the one for you. Really easy to put together as long as there are two of you! I've painted mine a sage green colour so I was thankful for the plastic covering the glass as it was easy to remove after painting and no paint on the glass! Thank you for a great service in terms of ordering and delivery.

My greenhouse purchase was very easy and it arrived as planned the two men who delivered it were great and made sure it arrived in perfect condition. The delivery pallet was great and doubled up as a drying rack when painting the greenhouse in county cream. The protective film on the windows meant that there was no need to mask the windows while painting and it came away easily once the paint was dry. Construction probably took a couple of hours, the instructions were fairly easy to follow and it is great that once assembled you can customise it depending on where you want shelves etc. I am delighted with this small but perfectly formed greenhouse just enough room for me to sit in, but also plenty of room to organise my plants. It did take two coats of paint but it was worth the extra effort.....I love it.

We wanted a small greenhouse for our patio and this is the perfect size. Delivery was reasonably prompt considering the Covid 19 situation and we were continually updated on the delivery status. The greenhouse arrived on a pallet and took my wife and I two days to complete. Construction is reasonably straightforward but you will need to pre drill most of the holes and read the instructions at least twice! As most people have mentioned on previous reviews we were short a number of screws and the hinges seem to be poor quality so will be replacing them. All in all am very happy with our purchase and think the greenhouse represents good value for money.

Perfect for our garden - I love it. Easy to put up (needs two people) and it only took a day. Instructions were okay but we had to fiddle around a bit on the window openings. Film on windows great idea so that you can paint or treat as you would like. Delivery driver was very helpful and checked it was all okay. Only negative was that we had to find over 30 screws which seemed to be missing from the pack. Would recommend and would buy again.

Can it be erected over edging bricks, with central open soil?

Q: How much paint is needed to paint it and does it require a base coat? i.e. 1L 1.5L etc

A: The supplier advised it would depend on how much the timber absorbs the paint, the make of paint or garden stain, colour etc. All paint / treatment tins will give an idea of coverage and if a base coat is required and will have an enquiry line if you require further information.
