The Garland Raised Bed offers just under one square metre of growing area. With a depth of 25cm, the internal capacity is 230 Litres. This unit is ideal for growing crops such as carrots, potatoes, and onions as well as brassicas such as cabbage and broccoli and squashes such as courgette (zucchini) and pumpkin, just to name a few.

These are very useful, recycled-plastic, raised beds; especially if, like me, you buy the extension kits as well. Unlike other raised plastic beds these have a metal brace across the middle, which means that they don't bow out over time.

This is our second raised bed and we are very pleased with both, they are very popular and often out of stock with suppliers so we snapped this up. It is worth taking time to put it together, we did it on flat ground and propped up the sides to make sure it was square and pushed the pins down half way at first until; we were satisfied. It only took about 10 minutes to do it. We also oiled the pins which can be a bit tight but that is a positive. For people who have trouble gripping small things, a rubber jar gripper works very well to push them in. It arrived in record time, almost by return. Would highly recommend.
