Great Bench

| I'm well pleased with this bench. I was a bit nervous about what condition it would be in after reading some of the earlier reviews but my worries were unfounded.
It arrived well packaged. Each part had polystyrene blocks and/or sheets between them and the bolts and tools were blister packed on a card. I did laugh a bit at the plastic screwdriver but it is invaluable, genius really.
My husband gave it a rub over with teak oil yesterday and we assembled it today. We have never assembled flat packed anything so the barrel nuts were somewhat of a mystery but they didn't take long to figure out. Thanks to some of the reviews, we started at the middle and worked outwards and it took us about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish.
That little genius plastic screwdriver "sticks" to the barrel nut thing so you can position it in the right place inside the hole while screwing in the bolt.
Everything aligned and fitted correctly so overall this is excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Greenfingers again.

| I shopped around lots of websites after I first saw this bench at Greenfingers and nothing else came near for quality and price. It looks really good under a large coniferous tree canopy in my garden. The wood is a rich colour, has a lovely smooth patina to it and the shaped seat and chair back look and feel comfortable.
Assembling the bench was a piece of cake except we left the table section until last and had trouble fixing the two screws near the seat backs. This is my only complaint so maybe an order of fixing could be printed on the instructions as well as the assembly diagram.
I've bought other garden furniture from Greenfingers and you never disappoint. Thank you guys. |

| The first one arrived whilst I was out and was badly damaged with items missing but this not the fault of Greenfingers but the fault of the carrier 'Nightfreight' and should not put you off ordering as a quick call to customer services resolved the issue with another product being despatched which this time arrived whilst I was ioj and was in good condition. It was easy to put together and I cvonsider it excellant value. Thank you Greenfingers and your Customer Services. |

| Ordered and delivered within the week, the bench arrived undamaged and complete which was a relief after reading the other reviews. This is a substantial piece of furniture and can be rather heavy for one person handling. I fell into the trap of assembling the bench from the 'outside in' and had some difficulty securing some of the fixings for the table section (the instructions are very vague about assembly). However, now complete and having had its first coat of teak oil applied the bench is looking fantastic, the seat sections are of generous proportions and make for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the garden. I am unable to find a product of the quality locally without having to pay twice the price. Well done Greenfingers. |

| Having been unable to find companion seats in local garden centres (except the ones at 3 times the price!) we were very pleased to find this one. it is quite 'chunky' and looks great in the garden. It arrived promptly with box intact and all the necessary tools are included. My son took about 1 1/2 hours to build it, he did make a mistake as he didn't realize there was a middle section (but he tends not to read instructions). Best oof all, we got it in time for the September sun! |

| Have to say this is the second one of these i have purchase and is very robust and has some wight to it so well made. Some of the fixings are a bit awkward due to slight inacuracy of drilling but still manageable and not enough to reduce the quality score. |

| Excellant product. Only required a small adjustment to one of the drillings. The instructions were not very good but as a competant DIY man completed the job without too much troubl. Does require two people to make it easier |
