I charged them for 3 days as advised, then switched them on one afternoon. Later that night I wondered what the flashing lights were at the back of the house and realised that it was these, where I had woven them round my new garden arch! Luckily I managed to work out how to switch them to a steady light before my neighbours complained... They are brilliant though, in both senses, and comfortably survived some torrential rain a few days ago with no problems.
