You need sticky stuff remover or WD40 to take the glue off properly. The lights work fine and give a very useful light without being obtrusive but they look cheap and nasty. They are not properly sealed so definitely not waterproof. In fact even at the offer price they are fairly expensive and you can find the same lights advertised elsewhere for a lot less. These are extremely difficult to remove, and leave a sticky residue which attracts dirt.
