This bird feeder is ideal for placing in your garden to encourage wild birds like tits, sparrows, nuthatches and pied fly catchers - they particularly love pecking at these balls that are mixed with a variety of seeds. The plastic feeder also offers a useful grid for birds to land upon and enjoy their meal. There is a useful hook for hanging in your favourite birdwatching location. Useful points to note: Clean this feeder using a solution of mild disinfectant and water, rinse with clean water Regularly move the feeder to prevent unhygienic deposits building up Hang away from cover and close to bushes to prevent attacks from cats and sparrowhawks. This will keep your feathery friends safe. Previously in our garden the dominant birds scoffed all the food very quickly. This feeder slows down the process, which means that even when all the seeds have gone there are still fat balls to peck at. We have found it spreads out the feeding time and gives more birds a chance to feed.....problem solved!
