Top Customer Reviews: Looking Good posted on 21/12/2012 by Sugar5 I wanted a composter that looked good enough to place nearer to the house for all the household composting bits, so I chose this one because of its more unusual shape. I am delighted to say that I made the right decision. The composter looks excellent in its chosen position. Its quite big for a small garden but looks so nice that it could become a feature with plant pots around it. The item arrived in good time and was well packaged. All the bits were there. It goes together in 2 halves so even though it has a flap at the bottom for getting the compost out, you could easily just take the top half off. Would definately recommend. Great design posted on 13/07/2012 by jenny s I spent considerable time looking for a wooden composter with a lid, a wide top for easy turning and aerating of the rotting material and a hatch for accessing the finished compost. This was the only one I could find that ticked all the boxes, so I ordered two. One was very easy to assemble; the second required a little more persuasion. They've been in use for a couple of weeks and the only negative is that the lower flaps tend to fall open so need to be held in place with a stake or rock to guard against possible visits by mice etc. The composters are quite expensive for their size so I hope they last well.
