Eventually, we chose this one as the overall scale seemed to be just right and most reviews seemed to be impressed with its quality. The 'Express' delivery service was opted for and the arch duly arrived a few days later without any problems. Assembly was very, very simple and after two coats of a coloured wood preservative, the arch certainly looked impressive once located. The only point worthy of mention is that there was a slight 'mis-match' with the instructions supplied, in that this arch had only six cross-members above the top arched section section, whereas the instructions showed a version with eight pieces (plus screws). Given that sufficient screws for eight pieces were also included in the pack, those surplus to requirements may have been cause for confusion to some assemblers! Quick assembly and though pressure treated I painted it with wood preserve as I do with all new wood garden products. It looks just the job. It is not a family heirloom that is going to be around forever, but I cannot see why I will not get a good few years from it. I am very pleased with it. One delivery disppeared , then reappeared - along with a second delivery which we had to send back!And too many phone calls needed to sort it all out.
