Developed primarily for larger potted plants, shrubs, climbers and vegetables, the Culti Cave Grohouse provides excellent protection from those pesky garden pests and insects. With its unique curved shape, it will also protect your plants from wind, rain and snow.

The Culti Cave is perfect for growing tasty tomatoes or strawberries - especially if your garden space is limited - as there is enough room for 4 standard-sized growbags. Featuring a sewn-in groundsheet to stop slugs, insects and other garden pests getting in, it also enables a more humid growing atmosphere. Easy to ventilate on hot days, either partially or fully unzip the front and rear panels.

Manufactured made from a high grade UV stabilised PVC for longer life, this means your Culti Cave will not perish and disintegrate in 12 months time. Easily maintained, durable and featuring a wipe clean surface there is no need to worry should you spill water while watering you plants - the mesh panel in groundsheet allows drainage of spillages.

Once erected, the dimensions measure 200 x 80 x 167cm high, but if this is not big enough for your needs, itís not a problem! Culti Cave has a door at the rear that can be simply unzipped allowing you to connect a second, third or even fourth Culti Cave. This means you can make this modular solution as large or small as you want!

Benefits:

  • Quick and easy to install; wall-mounted or freestanding

  • Manufactured from tough UV stable PVC

  • Zipped door panels on both sides for quick and easy access

  • Ideal for larger plants and flowers such as tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, strawberries, and squashes

This is an excellent product. Easy to put & very secure because of the guy ropes & pegs. Attached floor seems to be keeping the slugs out too & the mesh door is perfect for this hot weather. Have a growbag with 10 chillies in & 3 Tomato plants although more will go in when the weather changes. Will use the loops for string to tie up the tomato plants. So glad I bought this instead of anything else & it fits neatly at the bottom of the garden.

I got one of these for my allotment as I don't have much space left. It is easy to put up on your own, you just need to be a bit careful about running the poles through the sleeve. I would disagree that it fits 4 growbags in it - while the bags fit, whatever is growing on the ends needs to be very short, or it will hit the curved walls/need to be grown on an angle! The mesh door is a good addition because it means the condensation problem vanishes. One improvement I would love to see is a double zipper so you can give ventilation from the top rather than the bottom and then also inviting in all the slugs in the area! I have found a way round it by unhooking the top of one side of the door and opening the zip, then holding open with clothes pegs, but it's not ideal. Mine came with tears in the fabric, but was quickly replaced - thank you!

Bought 2 of these as i am fed up of losing plants through the Winter. Not a very experienced gardener and not sure which plants last longer than a year! Only needed 1 as its plenty big enough for my few tubs! Its sturdy and fastened to a wall very easily. Well worth the money. Fingers crossed we dont get the snow we got last year!

Really good size. Sturdy. I will be sorting it ball out soon. I will fit loads in. I like the design as you can add on other ones to extend area growing area. Also, where I live, it can get very windy (exposed area) in winter. This design means that I can take it down then if desired. Portable greenhouse ;0)

Very impressed - far better quality and design than the offerings from certain well-known DIY chains! The tensioned rods give the whole thing rigidity so that it won't fall apart. I was worried that there would be nothing inside to attach climbing supports, but there are handy loops positioned on the inside of each bracing joint.

Takes two to put it up, but this is really great, holds lots of pots and is very sturdy. I may buy another next year. Really great value for money and I can highly recommend it.

I erected this product by myself, "the very notion that it requires two people is utter rubbish", it took me all of 20 minutes. The product is spot on apart from as already mentioned the zips, which can be a tad sticky at times. The cave come's with an alternative insect net zip on front which is well handy however, the fit is poor on my cave but saying that, it dose work. Enough nit picking, ITS A GOOD PRODUCT. If you do purchase one, and it doesn't mention this in the instructions Then before you insert the poles into the structure and into the comer retaining tabs in the ground sheet, THEN UNZIP the doors first or you'll find it difficult and could end up pulling the tabs off.

Took two people to build. Quality and idea is excellent. Does the job really well. however you must be very carefull in construction as it ripped in two places.
Big enough! posted on 24/11/2010 by ffroglet
I can get all my large planters of chilli plants in for overwintering which is what I wanted. I'm disappointed though that it isn't really keeping the temp higher than it is outside. I am having to add extra fleece and bubble wrap in an attempt to stop my plant from suffering cold damage. It does keep actual frost off though. Would have preferred more drainage holes in the bottom too. Will have to add more myself.
